Privacy policy.

The Focus Room is a private self mastery centre in East Austin. This policy covers thefocusroomatx.com. It is written plainly on purpose, because the honest answer is that this site collects very little.

What this site collects

There is no account system and no newsletter signup. The one form on the site is the application, described below. The site does not set advertising cookies. We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you, to see which pages are visited, and we may use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. Fonts are served from this site rather than from an outside font service.

When you apply or contact us

Choosing to schedule a visit takes you to our application. We hold what you submit there, such as your name, contact details, birthday, address, and your answers about your goals and training, and we use it to read your application, reply to you, and arrange a visit. Applications are sent to the customer relationship platform we use to manage email and text messaging. If that platform cannot be reached, your application is emailed to Jarred directly so it is not lost. If you email or call us directly, the same applies to what you chose to tell us. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing.

Email and text messages

Applying means we may email you about your application and about The Focus Room. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We send text messages only if you give us your number and check the box agreeing to receive them. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is never a condition of membership.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like nearly all web hosts, Vercel keeps standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These exist for security, reliability, and performance, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

Links to other places

This site links out to Instagram and to jarredcurcio.com. Once you follow a link away from here, that destination is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under thirteen.

Your choices

If you have emailed us and want to know what we hold, or want it deleted, write to us and we will do it. There is no database to untangle, so this is usually a matter of deleting an email thread.

Changes

If how we handle information changes, this page will be updated before the change goes live, and the date above will change with it.
